By a sparing thinning of the metal surface, near-surface imperfections get gently removed. Disturbing inclusions and impurities get eliminated.

Removal of impurities from the electropolished surface is much easier.

Depending on size of the part and customer requirement electropolishing is made in a dip or partially on the workpiece.
