Workpeace Cleansing

Take suitable measures in your company to find an optimal solution for the delivery of parts, with regard to economic and evironmental aspects.

In processes of mechanical of metal workpieces naturally oils ans oily emusions are applied. Often chippings ore other residues have to be removed by a washing process. Most washing processes protect steel parts by a re-lubrication.

Where washing processes can be spared, the oil or oily emusion must be removed to the extent that only a film protecting from corrosion remains, as long as necessary for the material.

Inadmissible from the galvanisers' and mostly the forwarders' point of view are quantities, that run off the part and gather in puddles on the ground of the container. For forwarders such quantities imply hazardous materials and may not be transported in non-sealed containers. For us as galvanisers, this means a significant impairment of the workpeace cleansing stage that may result in increased cunsumption of chemicals and faultily processed workpieces.

Thus it is neither economically nor environmentally useful to bring parts on their way with surplus quantities of oil or oily emulsions.

A simple centrifuge often is sufficient to spin off and even regain surplus quantities of oil or oily emulsions - a multiply sensible measure with a regard to environmental protection.

Hence our initial and evident criterion for the rejection of too oily goods are puddles on the ground of the container. In this case production department is instructed to stop the assembly.
